Clare Hayes Guymer is a family, civil, and commercial Mediator and the Founder of Adept Mediation. Her mediation style is facilitative, working with clients to unblock stalled or fraught communications, empower them to negotiate, and help them reach their own agreements. Clare has a particular interest in assisting clients where communication has completely broken down.

Prior to becoming a mediator, Clare worked as a senior communications professional both in house and in consultant roles for high profile organisations within media, finance, publishing, and academia. Clare worked as a broadcast Journalist for CNN International, as an Executive Director for London Business School, and as as an Associate Director; Communications and Media Relations Manager for UBS Asset Management. In these engaging, high-pressure roles, Clare developed strong skillsets in managing complex challenges, crisis communications, and problem solving.

Clare is a member of the College of Mediators and is registered with the Family Mediation Council and the Civil Mediation Council. She trained with National Family Mediation (NFM), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and the London School of Mediation.

Clare has a master's degree in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London.
